Roasted Herb Lemon Chicken Recipe

Ingredients Preparation -
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon seasoning salt
1 (3 pound) whole chicken
2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 lemons

Cocking Direction -
1. First of all, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and begin with your preparation for cocking.

2. Mix together all the seasonings which include salt, mustard powder, garlic powder and black pepper and keep the mixture aside for some time. Now the next step is to rinse the chicken nicely and thoroughly, remove and clean the giblets from the chicken. Place chicken in a 9×13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle 1 1/2 teaspoons of the spice mixture inside the chicken and spread it thoroughly and rub the remaining mixture on the outside of the chicken.

3. Now the third and crucial step is to squeeze 2 lemon juices into a small bowl or cup, and mix with the olive oil, and now pour this mixture on the chicken and rub it nicely to make it well spread.

4. Now last but not the least step is to bake in the preheated oven for 1 1/2 hours, or until juices run clear, spreading several times with the remaining oil mixture.
